Within South Africa, nearly all road travel starts from the international airport, Oliver Tambo situated in Johannesburg, Gauteng province where you will clear Customs and clear your firearms at the local South African Poloce Services station situated on the airport. On average, all hunting destinations from there are between 4 - 6 hours travel by road from the airport, incorporating two road stops for having a meal, using restrooms and stretchng your legs.

In Mozambique you will arrive at the caital, Maputo where customs are to be cleared and a temporary firearm license procured. From Maputo a connecting flight will take you northwards to either the towns of Quelimane or Pemba, from where you will travel by road for about four hours on average, to both end-destinations.
